B & K Structures is a winner at the RoSPA Health and Safety Awards 2017

B & K Structures has received the Order of Distinction, at the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) Health and Safety Awards 2017 - the Order of Distinction is awarded to organisations whom have been awarded 15 consecutive Gold Awards. The awards, now in its 61st year are considered one of the most prestigious in the world of occupational health and safety and are awarded to organisations judges consider to be overarching in their occupational health and safety management systems.

Andrew Goodwin, B & K Structures Managing Director, said: ‘As an organisation we are committed to promoting the importance of health and safety on our sites and it is an honour for our team, to once again be recognised for that commitment.

The award, which will be presented during a ceremony at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole hotel in July, was achieved during a special year for family-safety charity RoSPA. As it celebrates its centenary, Julia Small, RoSPA’s head of awards and events, said: “The RoSPA Awards are the most prestigious in the world of occupational health and safety, and held in high regard around the world, as winning one demonstrates an organisation’s commitment to maintaining an excellent health and safety record. Achieving the standard required is no mean feat.
