Our services include full design, production of 2D drawings and 3D BIM models, including the detailed design of engineered timber products and pre-insulated timber roof and wall cassettes, as well as structural steel.
By utilising Building Information Modelling (BIM) working on projects up to Level 2+, we are able to provide clients and project partners with a shared resource that supports critical decision making from the earliest conceptual stages. The integration of different materials within our 3D models avoids problems associated with interface details and ensures a full appreciation of how the different elements of the structure interact. This also provides invaluable assistance to follow on trades and enables them to understand the structure in far greater detail.
Through BIM, we are able to inform our supply chain to adapt designs to include builder work holes for mechanical and electrical (M&E) and main distribution runs. This limits general disruption to the build program and the costs associated with retrospective builders work hole installation.
