Leading the way for offsite construction

We are the UK’s leading sustainable frame contractor, specialising in design and delivery of hybrid structures. We’ve been operating since 1974 and have worked with some of the UK’s biggest clients to build projects with outstanding green credentials.

Construction without the carbon

Building shouldn’t cost the earth. We don’t just cut emissions, we build them into everything we do using sustainably sourced timber. We’re committed to a greener built environment and continually strive to cut the emissions of our projects.

Futureproof Residential Schemes

Dalston Lane, the multi-award winning PRS project in Hackney, uses CLT as its core material. This project was recently shortlisted for a RICS Award and a Construction News Award. Find out more about this ground breaking project below.

A world-class supply chain

We work with an exceptional array of manufacturing and engineering talent, all of whom share our vision and values. Collaboration helps us to build better, safer & smarter and to push the boundaries of what our industry deems possible.

The Evolution of CLT

Since the new Building Regulations came into force on 21 December 2018, much has been written about the use of cross laminated timber (CLT), with some commentators trying to whip up a storm. Others have taken a more pragmatic approach. Andy Goodwin, Managing Director, B&K Structures, explains how they have taken an innovative approach to embrace the new protocols.
