We are thrilled to have been honoured at last week’s Structural Timber Awards, where our team walked away with the prestigious Timber Icon of the Decade award for our Sky Believe in Better Building.
Celebrating a decade of success, Sky BIBB was handpicked from the previous Winner of Winners over the last 10 years – an accolade we won alongside Arup, back at the awards launch in 2015.
Now, 10 years later, the project remains a fantastic example of timber excellence - using a variety of products to achieve its unique appearance - and has paved the way for sustainable commercial developments since.
As B&K Structures celebrate our 50th anniversary this year, with over 20 years of timber experience, we are delighted to receive an award which shines a light on our longstanding expertise.
Continuing our award-winning work to the present day, we were also recognised on the night as Installer of the Year for our team’s work at Abingdon Beech Court!
A big congratulations to all the finalists and winners on the night, including our project partners for Workstack (which won Solid Wood Project of the Year and saw dRMM win Architect of the Year) and Haileybury SciTech (which won Client of the Year and saw Engenuiti and Integral Engineering win Engineer of the Year).
