B&K Hybrid Solutions Managing Director Andrew Goodwin has signed up for the “100 Push Ups a Day Challenge” in aid of Cancer Research UK (CRUK).
The challenge runs from 1st April to 30th April, with supporters completing 100 push-ups a day throughout the month.
Andy Goodwin:
“Cancer has no boundaries: it does not discriminate and I doubt that there is one person that hasn’t been affected by the disease, either through a family member, friend, colleague, or acquaintance.
My own story is no different, however early detection and treatment are key to a positive outcome. Thank you to everyone who has supported me so far and while 100 press ups a day is quite a challenge at my age, I’m pleased to report that it is going well so far, and I will keep you all posted!”
Cancer survival rates have doubled over the past 40 years. Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further.
