We’re very proud of the opportunities we’re able to give our team here at B&K Structures, and we pride ourselves on helping everyone, no matter their experience or role, to fulfil their potential.

That’s why we’re delighted to see that three of our outstanding young employees have been shortlisted in the prestigious Generation 4 Change Constructing Excellence Midlands Awards.

Our construction trainee Sally White has been shortlisted in the Apprentice of the Year category; trainee 3D CAD technician Georgina Hitchcock has been named as a finalist in the Young Trainee of the Year category; and George Parkin, our senior quantity surveyor, has been shortlisted in the Young Professional of the Year category.

The 2019 Midlands G4C Awards provide an exclusive opportunity to celebrate outstanding examples of excellence and best practice within the construction industry.

G4C is passionate about focusing on young people and showcasing the young talent within the industry. The Awards celebrate the achievements of these talented young people and the organisations that are supporting and shaping the future leaders of the construction industry.

Sally, Georgina and George exemplify the qualities valued most here at B&K Structures: hard work, a keen eye for detail, and supporting those around them to achieve excellence as a team.

Congratulations to all three finalists and good luck for the awards!

The winners of the G4C Midlands Awards will be announced in a ceremony held at the ICC in Birmingham on 12th April 2019.
