B&K Hybrid Solutions is an innovative company, specialising in the design and delivery of structural steel and timber-steel hybrid projects. In-house supply, supported by our advanced manufacturing facility, provides increased efficiency, quality, and assurance to new and existing clients.
Raw steelwork is brought into our logistics handling area for dry storage before going through our Peddinghaus Shot Blaster, to prepare for our manufacturing process and also surface treatment – an essential step to make certain steelwork is ready for fabrication and ensure a safe and clean working environment free from dust and debris.
- Saw & Drill Processing Lines
Steelwork is distributed to our two CNC Saw Drill lines, with operators selecting the line based on steelwork characteristics. Our state-of-the-art Peddinghaus machines fuse drilling, sawing and coping operations into a single fabrication centre by combining a high-speed drill line with a double miter cut band saw, executing drilling and sawing in harmony. While steel is sawn, our Plasma line pre-manufactures end plates ready for fabrication and welding.
Once steel leaves the Saw & Drill line it is loaded into the holding bays to await fabrication. Here our Material Handlers package up the end plates for our Fabricator/Welders, to increase efficiency and workflow and ensure fabrication is smooth.
Working within 15 fabrication workstations, each with individual craneage, our expert team of Fabricator/Welders are able to fabricate a diverse range of steelwork including complex connections and non-standard section sizes. Our team are committed to delivering the highest quality steelwork and we are proud to offer tailored solutions, listening to client needs and responding with tailored solutions.
Finally, steelwork heads to our Paint Shop to receive surface treatment. Our quality team ensure consistent and exceptional standards are met on all our structural steelwork projects, inspecting all steelwork before it leaves the factory and is loaded ready for site.

Once on site, our Project Managers and Site Teams work closely with our clients and project partners to erect the steelwork, ensuring quality is maintained from the factory to completion.
