Five new speculative industrial and logistics units in Burnley

B&K Hybrid Solutions have delivered the structural steelwork for Units 1 and 2 at Frontier Park, which has included the detailing, fabrication and erection of circa 600 tonnes of Hot Rolled and almost 105 tonnes of cold rolled structural steelwork.

Both units were delivered on site to programme in just two and four weeks respectively, including steelwork spanning up to 48 meters in length.

We will be returning on site later this year to deliver Units 3 and 5 at Frontier Park, which will see our team detail, fabricate and erect an additional 320 tonnes of hot and cold rolled steelwork.

Frontier Park is a new development of five speculative industrial/logistics units ranging from 39,000 to 158,800 sq ft. The first units are set to be available Q3 2024, with the final units being completed towards early 2025.

Upon completion, this new £100m mixed-use development will include nearly one million square feet of industrial and warehouse accommodations, including the new motorway services, and give immediate access to Junction 6 of the M65.

Frontier Burnley has been designed with sustainability in mind, targeting BREEAM ‘Very Good’ and a minimum EPC rating of B. Frontier Park Burnley forms part of the client Monte Blackburn Ltd’s vision to expand Burnley’s Business Park supply and demonstrate their commitment to investing in the borough and the M65 corridor. Earlier occupier interest is already encouraging, and the high specification units aim to meet the needs of the modern-day occupier, providing quality industrial and warehousing facilities on the M65.
