BKHS were delighted to deliver almost 900 tonnes of structural steelwork for the first phase of Project SPARK, on behalf of Bowmer and Kirkland.
Devised by Origin, a joint venture between HBD and their partners Feldberg Capital, B&K Hybrid Solutions were delighted to deliver the steelwork – manufactured from our state-of-the-art facility – for the first two units of the project (totalling 255,000sq ft and 18,000sq ft). We will be returning in 2026 to begin work on the second phase of the scheme.
SPARK will deliver 620,000sq ft of high-spec, net zero carbon enabled space, at the heart of the Midlands’ manufacturing and logistics economy. Located just minutes from Junction 9 and 10 of the M6, SPARK sits at the gateway to the Midlands.
This £100million scheme in Walsall will transform one of the Black Country’s largest undeveloped brownfield sites to create a thriving new employment scheme within the region’s manufacturing and logistics hub.
