B&K Structures are delighted to announce our involvement in Brooklands, a contemporary business campus in the heart of Cambridge, where we are delivering the structural steelwork and CLT package including a sawtooth roof.

Brooklands is a new development in Cambridge which will provide state of the art office space. Two buildings surrounding a private courtyard planted with native trees, this 67,000 sq ft office campus for M&G is set to become the city’s first net zero office development.

Through green energy procurement and sustainable control measures, the building will enable the occupier to eliminate their carbon output while providing a workspace in which employees can excel.

BKS are providing the structural steelwork and cross laminated timber to the second and fourth levels to create an angled ‘sawtooth’ ridge valley design to allow roofing and solar panels to be installed above. Exposed MEP services will be a key feature within the space.

We are delighted to be delivering the project on behalf of SDC Builders Ltd, alongside Ramboll, Allies and Morrison, Stora Enso and Wrenbridge.
