Heavy fabrication, with butt welds in thicknesses up to 140mm and a maximum weight of five tonnes, these striking cruciforms showcase our ability to deliver high quality and complex fabrication in-house, from our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility.
This project highlights the diversity of structural steelwork we can deliver through the BKHS factory, with sections topping out at UC356x406x1299, and our highly skilled welders have certainly stepped up to the challenge!
This is the second phase of our recently delivered Plunge Columns, which featured flanges circa 140mm thick with a web just under 100mm thick, weighing in at 1299kg per metre - also cut, drilled and fabricated by the B&K Hybrid Solutions team.
